Aza Hand is the founder and Chief Creative at A77 Sound, established in 2020. Known for his experimental approach and attention to detail, Aza creates soundscapes that bring stories to life, shaping atmosphere, emotion, and rhythm with every element.

He works closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to craft sound that reflects the vision behind each project. His work spans both Irish and international films, and he has a strong track record of delivering award-winning sound and music composition that deepens the cinematic experience. Aza was the first to be nominated for both Best Sound and Best Music at the Irish Film & Television Awards (2021, 2023), and was recently nominated for Best Sound at the 2024 British Independent Film Awards for his work on Kneecap. Driven by a lifelong love of film, music, and storytelling, Aza continues to explore new ways sound can elevate the screen.

Damien Lynch is a critically acclaimed musician, sound designer and sound effects editor. His recent credits include Kneecap, The Incomer, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast,The Inventor, Lies We Tell, The Gone, Oddity, and The Surfer. Damien has composed original music for the documentary Castro Spies, the Abbey Theatre, as well as numerous productions across radio, television, and podcasts.

He has released music on a range of international record labels, including Lunar Disko, Alphabet Set, Kaboogie, and ESP Institute in LA. Damien has collaborated with and produced music for New Jackson, Goodtime John, Everything Shook, Meljoann, and Mary Keane’s Cormorant Tree Oh. He brings a unique musical sensitivity to his film sound design, crafting sound FX with a sense of rhythm, atmosphere, and suspense that leaves a lasting impression on the listener.

Kate is a highly experienced account manager specialising in client relationships and project delivery. She ensures seamless execution across all sound and music post-production projects and serves as the key contact at A77 for scheduling, commercial matters, and client support.
